nice. but it's unlikely a rex could handle a full grown ankylasaur who is already in defensive mode. too much armor to penetrate.

seeing how you classified the large carnivorous dinosaur a "rex", your argument is rendered invalid. That is not a "rex" for it has more that two claws on its arms.

even if it is an allosaurus or another theropod, that wouldn't invalidate the claim. that type of hunter in general is going to stay away from an ankylosaur unless they lucked into finding it while its flank and belly are exposed or unless they are starving.
